2017 Summer Internship & St. Ignatius Progress
 

With the start of summer comes the start of The Land Group Internship Program. We are excited to have Elaine Zabriskie as our landscape architecture intern this summer. She started off with a site visit at the progressing St. Ignatius Catholic School, learning the ins and outs of site visits and project observation reports. We are happy to have her with us this summer!

Fort Missoula Regional Park Grand Opening
 

April 29, 2017 was the grand opening of phase one of the Fort Missoula Regional Park in Missoula, Montana! A few members of The Land Group were able to make it up for the fun day celebrating the opening. Thank you to our partners on this project, Missoula Parks and Recreation and Missoula County Parks, Trails, and Open Lands, for all your help with this exciting project!

April is Landscape Architecture Month!
 

The Governors of Idaho and Montana have proclaimed April as Landscape Architecture Month. To celebrate, we are encouraging everyone to care for the trees and green spaces that contribute to our lives. Fort Missoula Regional Park Phase 1 Grand Opening
 

Save the date! April 29, 2017 is the grand opening of phase 1 of the Fort Missoula Regional Park in Missoula, Montana. FMRP is a regional park that came to fruition with the passing of a 42-million-dollar bond in 2014. The Land Group took the master plan through plan finalization, design development, and construction phases. Thank you to Missoula Parks and Recreation, and Missoula County Parks, Trails, and Open Lands for helping make this exciting project a reality!

 
2017 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
 

TLG's 2017 summer internship is now open for application. The TLG Integrated Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering Internship Program is an excellent opportunity for university students to grow in their academic and professional experience. 8-10 Week Summer Internship; Full-time Paid Position; Real-life Project Lifecycle Experience; Evidence-Based Design Focus; Integrated Research and Design Project; Scholarship Opportunity.

 
Riverside Hotel River Access
 

Riverside Hotel’s vision for river access now comes to life! The stone access stairway was recently implemented on the Boise River Greenbelt, next to the ever-popular Sandbar Grill. The takeout can be accessed by the public, providing a strategic location for river access for fishing, paddle boarding, tubing etc. In addition to the takeout, revegetation of the riverbank with native species was a key focus of this project. The Land Group’s design for this exciting project is revealed in these renderings.
